Pricing, Payment & Insurance

Clear, transparent information to help families make informed decisions.

Private Pay Speech Therapy

This practice operates on a direct private-pay model. This means:

  • Payment is made directly to the practice at the time of service
  • We do not bill insurance on your behalf
  • Therapy decisions are based on your child's needs — not insurance rules

A private-pay model allows for:

Individualized care

Flexible plans

Consistent scheduling

Fewer denials

Do You Accept Insurance?

At this time, we do not participate with insurance plans.

Many families are surprised to learn that even when speech therapy is covered by insurance, coverage may be:

Limited in number of visits
Restricted to certain diagnoses
Denied for articulation-only concerns
Subject to high deductibles or copays

Choosing private pay gives families clarity and control over services.

What Is a Superbill?

A superbill is a detailed receipt that includes the information some insurance plans require for out-of-network reimbursement.

If requested, we can provide a superbill for families who wish to submit claims independently to their insurance company or use out-of-network benefits, if available.

Important to know

  • Reimbursement is not guaranteed
  • Coverage varies widely by plan
  • The family is responsible for all communication with insurance

We are happy to explain how superbills work so you can decide whether this option makes sense for your family.

Is Speech Therapy Worth the Cost?

Speech therapy is an investment, not just an expense.

Clear speech can support:

Academics Reading Social Self-esteem

Addressing articulation issues earlier often means:

Fewer total sessions Shorter duration of therapy Reduced need for support later

Many families find that targeted, efficient therapy now prevents larger academic and emotional costs down the road.
